How our ALLERGYCAST® Predictions work
Wondering how your day might be affected by your allergy symptoms? Knowing the local pollen count can help, but many allergy sufferers need more than just that number to plan their day.
The Zyrtec® ALLERGYCAST® app goes beyond pollen levels alone. Our personalized symptom prediction technology calculates how the pollen count may make you feel. It’s like a “real-feel” allergy forecast for your allergies!
When you first start using the app, we’ll provide you with the pollen level in your area. To unlock your personalized predictions, just track your symptoms in the app for five days.
After you’ve tracked five times, you’ll get a symptom severity prediction each day. It’s calculated using unique-to-you factors like your tracked symptoms data and the pollen forecast near you, with help from Zyrtec’s allergy expertise.
Does the app predict a “Mild” symptoms day? Great! You can expect less sniffling and sneezing.
Are “Severe” symptoms predicted? You may want to have some tissues handy or spend less time outside.

How ALLERGY IMPACT Works
This pollen tracker helps you determine how the pollen count could affect your allergies. Unlike static maps and figures, ALLERGY IMPACT analyzes weather information from 41,000 ZIP codes, as well as search-engine and social-media trends, to tell you how the pollen count might make you feel.
How to Use This Tool
If the ALLERGY IMPACT number is higher than the pollen count number, you might feel more prone to sneezing than you’d expect. If it’s lower, you might not feel as bad compared to what you’d expect.
